Five films from AUSTRALIAN SHORT FILM TODAY's 2017 program were shown at Rencontres du Cinéma des Antipodes, which screens Australian and New Zealand feature films and short films, in Saint Tropez on 10 October 2017.
This was the 19th year of the festival, whose President is Bernard Bories.
In a competition of 20 Australian and New Zealand short films, the 2017 Audience Award went to Meat and Potatoes, a comedy by Arielle Thomas and Ellenor Argyropoulos about a Vegan in the Outback during the Apocalypse.
